Top Outlet Bunded Oil Tanks
Titan's top outlet, bunded oil tanks are suitable only when oil lifting equipment or a pressure jet boiler is installed. Ensure you have suitable equipment before you proceed with the purchase. If you are in any doubt, contact your boiler manufacturer to ensure it can take a top outlet bunded oil tank.
Installation Requirements
The installation and maintenance of any oil tank must be carried out by an OFTEC registered engineer in accordance with statutory requirements, the supplied documentation and the requirements of OFTEC Technical Book 3. OFTEC and British Standard BS5410 require that all fuel and oil storage tanks be installed upon a base of adequate strength. The base must extend at least 300mm beyond the full dimensions of the tank in all directions. RPM Fuels & Tanks will not be responsible for any oil tank installations that do not comply with these requirements.
