Fully bunded and engineered to exceed the most demanding fuel storage requirements, BioFuel Stations are the ‘ready to go’ Biodiesel dispensing and storage solution from Harlequin.

Rotationally moulded from a specialist grade of biodiesel resistant, Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE), Harlequin Bunded Biodiesel Fuel Stations have been purpose designed for the storage of Diesel fuel in accordance with EN14214 plus The National Summer & Winter Requirements in the UK and RoI  for CFPP*

Tough, robust and durable, Harlequin Bunded BioFuel Stations exceed all applicable UK and EU fuel storage tank requirements.

All Harlequin Bunded Biodiesel Fuel Station Diesel Storage and Dispensing Tanks must be installed by a competent person in accordance with statutory requirements.
Barriers are recommended to protect Diesel Storage and Dispensing Tanks from vehicular impact. OFTEC and British Standard BS5410 require that all fuel and oil storage tanks should be installed upon a base of adequate strength that extends a minimum of 300mm beyond the maximum dimensions of the tank.
All electrical connections should be undertaken only by a competent, independently accredited electrician.

RPM Fuels and Tanks and Clarehill Plastics Limited / Harlequin Oil Tanks will not be responsible for fuel tank installations that do not comply with these requirements.



Pricing & Delivery:



Prices quoted include delivery to anywhere on mainland UK and Northern Ireland but excludes offshore islands and locations. Deliveries will be made by articulated lorry and it is the customers responsibility to ensure safe and adequate access plus off loading. Off loading of heavy items should be made by fork lift or similar heavy lifting equipment. If there is any doubt about delivery access or off loading please contact us to discuss the options available. Please allow a minimum of 10 working days for delivery.

* 1) CFPP is the Cold Filter Plug Point which indicates the temperature at or below which a fuel may begin to cause operational problems. British Standard BS EN14214 and Irish Standard IS EN14214 states Summer and Winter requirements within the UK and Republic of Ireland as -5 degrees Celsius and -15 degrees Celsius respectively



Q. Why does the tank base have to measure 300mm around the perimeter of the oil tank?

A. The fire protection provided by the base is to help prevent the tank itself from becoming overgrown and in turn to help protect against fire spreading across the ground to the contained fuel from another source. If the tank is raised on piers, the platform supporting the tank should be sized to sufficiently support the tank. Reference should be made to the tank manufacturer’s installation instructions.
